FAQ'S
We know as a parent you likely have lots of questions before deciding to enrol your child in to a football programme.

We’ve put together this FAQ to give you quick answers to the most common questions about how we coach, what your child can expect, and how your child can get involved.

1: What ages do we coach?

We currently run sessions for children in Year 2 - Year 6.
If your child is older and would like to train with us, please get in touch as we are launching new age groups very soon.

2: Does my child need to be playing for a team already?

Not at all! Many of our players join with little or no experience of playing in a team.

Our sessions focus on improving each players technical skill and confidence with a football regardless of what level they are when they join us.

We keep our coaching sessions level appropriate by coaching all players in age and ability level coaching groups.

3: What will my child learn?

Our sessions combine football coaching with youth strength & conditioning.

Your child will learn & improve;

-
Dribbling & Technique
-
1v1 attacking & defending techniques
-
Decision making & confidence in game situations
-
Speed & agility
-
Strength & movement skills
Our goal is to build stronger, faster and more skilled footballers who feel confident with the ball at their feet...and above all, look forward to training every week.

4: Where are the sessions held?

November-March: we train at three locations, the Broadfield 3G pitch & Oriel 3G pitch. Our Futsal session is heldf at St Wilfrid's school.

March-October: we train at Northgate playing fields, Crawley

Full session information can be found here

5: What should my child bring to training sessions?

-
Football boots/Astroturf trainers
-
A drink
-
Shin pads
-
Weather appropriate clothing (please be aware we train in all weathers)

6: Can parents stay and watch?

Absolutely. We ask all Parents/Guardians to stay and watch or be in close proximity for the duration of the training session.

We ask all parents to enjoy watching their child play and not to try and 'coach' or instruct their child from the sidelines.

Too many voices will distract your child and limit their ability to make their own decisions and learn from their mistakes on the pitch.

7: Do you coach girls as well as boys?

Yes! Elevate is open to both boys and girls, and we believe all children should have the chance to build their football skills in a fun and positive environment.

8: Can I just join online or do I have to book a trial session first?

We ask all parents to book a free trial before signing up to a monthly or termly membership. This allows us to ensure your child trains in an age and level appropriate training group.
To book a trial session please click on the 'book a trial' button below.
